Exercising WELL gives 5% of profits to non-profit organizations who provide basic well-being needs such as food, clean water, shelter, and education.
When I was in college, I got to the end of my sophomore year and still didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I started teaching aerobics and fell in love with the way exercise seemed to transform people from being stressed, tired, and overwhelmed to being calm and lighter in their whole person.
When I discovered I could become a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, I was overjoyed that I had found a career where I could be part of that transformation every day. Each day since then, I have felt my vocation is a gift and I’ve felt compelled to give back.
As I explore what it means for me to be WELL, I discovered that I am most joyful when I am giving from that place of gratitude. This is why giving back is an important part of Exercising WELL.
Each month, I choose an organization that is providing basic well-being needs such as food, clean water, shelter, and education. The organizations are featured here so you know who you are supporting as you support your own well-being.
