Over the years, I have always measured my own “fitness” by my size, weight or muscle definition. I have varied exercise routines and diet to adjust these measurements. And, it can be exhausting and awfully difficult to maintain. Alternatively, I have also tried to let go of these measurements … but, for me, not measuring sort of translates to giving up. I find that I am way less active when I am not measuring. I am optimistic I can retrain my brain to allow myself to enjoy a more attainable, fit lifestyle. Thank you, Janet.
